Hello, my name is Keith Stone. I grew up in Western Washington. Both of my parents have worked in law enforcement. It is through them that I understand the importance of hardwork and dedication.
My experience includes completing an internship at the Port Townsend Foundry in the summer of 2014. I worked as a machinist, grinder, and a green sand mold specialist. I also took part in learning the design/drafting process and the metal pouring process.
I have just recently graduated from Central Washington University as of June 13, 2015. As a student at Central Washington University I have gained experience in various CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Rhino, and AutoCAD. I gained experience in Welding which include TIG, MIG, Arc and Oxyacetylene. I have done machining work both manual and CNC. The university has also provided with extensive knowledge in various engineering disiplines which include mechanical design, Thermo and fluid dynamics, strengths of materials, metallurgy and many more.
I enjoy the Mechanical Engineering field and my goal is to gain a position as a design engineer.
